The Short History of the Valide-i Atik Külliye of Üsküdar The facu!ty is working very hard to attain the ownership of Toptaşı Valide-i Atik Külliyesi which is a great cornplex established by the architect Mimar Sinan in 1570 — 1579 in Üsküdar. This monumental complex the design of which is accomplished by Mimar Sinan, the great architect of Ottoman Times, owns a programme like Süleymaniye Külliye, as it were in the most important sultan külliyes of the time. It is a group of socially planned group of buildings holding a multifunctional mission and a perfect model for the Otoman time. This complex had been allocated for the faculty in 2003.
